Our learning across the school
Today, Year 5 combined their mathematical skills with their science and computing skills. We used our data from our experiment (on testing how quickly sound travels) to create a digital graph to visually represent our data.
At first we had to work out how to input our data on to a blank Google Sheet. We needed to make sure we had each column labelled as they would become our labelled axis.
Then we experimented with different graphs to work out which one was the most appropriate for representing our data.
We realised that it was a line graph because our data is continuous. We created our final product to put into our books and analyse the results in more detail.
