In addition to year ones' future computer geniuses, it appears we also have a new generation of botanists. Today the children got stuck in going through soil, digging out plants and ripping them apart all in the name of science. With their plants and flowers the children were tasked with taking them apart and placing the different parts of the flower in their relevant category. The children then had the challenge to assemble their own plant using a combination of lots of different plants and then labelling them. Well done year one.
