As part of ‘Visual Literacy Fortnight’, staff and students have been hard at work discovering the secrets that lie hidden within Narnia. The children have created some descriptive narrative and have worked hard on their reports into the hidden mythical creatures that lie hidden and are awaiting discovery. Classes have also created some artwork using Gustav Klimt as their inspiration.
To celebrate the children’s hard work, we invited parents and carers to our very own ‘Narnia Gallery’ to give everyone a chance to view the fantastic writing and artwork that has created.
The staff and children have thoroughly enjoyed creating their writing and artwork and we hope you as many of you as possible managed to pay us a visit. A selection of the artwork and writing is pictured below.
The making of the lion...
Our very talented volunteers Tracy Watson and Louise Randall spent time working with Year 5 students in order to bring the lion to life. Isn't it fantastic?!
