As part of our Natural Disasters unit, Year 5 have been learning about the devastating impact that earthquakes can have upon cities and towns. We decided to come up with some solutions and so we spent an afternoon designing our own structures which would withstand the shaking of an earthquake. In case you're wondering how we simulated an earthquake, we tested our structures in a tray full of jelly!
