On Monday this week, we went to Holdenby House dressed as Victorians. We played the role of children from the workhouse and were allocated jobs; undertaken with care and precision. We were also taken around the house by Mr Rhett - the butler. In the afternoon we presented ourselves to her Ladyship; singing her a song. The Victorian housekeeper and cook were very strict and some of us got told off! Even our teachers!
Overall, we had a fantastic day and we learnt lots about the Victorians, which will help us with our project work in the up and coming weeks.
