Year 6 Girls Football League

A very tired bunch after 45 minutes of solid running. Well done girls!
The girls took part in their first competitive football matches in more than 4 years at Bushfield school last night. The three, 15 minute, games took place on a cold and damp evening. After taking a while to get going, the girls started working as a team fantastically well and didn't give up. They represented our school beautifully and should be extremely proud of themselves. Next week there will be three more games and will give the girls another opportunity to practise the skills they have learnt in PE.

Our "lady" of the match was Zahara who was fearless in goal and had a showed a great eye for the ball.

Well done to our year 6 team: Zahara, Lolade, Rudy, Millie, Neave, Tayla and Chantelle.
