RE at Great Linford Primary School
At Great Linford Primary School, children take part in weekly religious education lessons in which they learn about a variety of different faiths. As part of the curriculum, the children are able to develop spiritually, morally, socially and culturally. The children spend time acquiring and developing knowledge and understanding of the principal religions in Great Britain. This enables them to be able to confidently express their own views and respectfully learn from others of differing religious backgrounds.
PSHE at Great Linford Primary School
At Great Linford Primary School, the focus on personal, social and health education ensures that children develop to be confident and happy adults. Children focus on areas of learning such as: myself and my relationships, healthy and safer lifestyles and citizenship and economic wellbeing. In addition to this, the children benefit from education in areas such as healthy eating and anti-bullying. All children are encouraged to actively take part in PSHE lessons in order for them to develop skill sets necessary for later in life.
