Latest News and Updates
Our House Captains have now been selected following an application process involving a shortlisting and interview. The new captains (see below) will be responsible for our upcoming virtual assemblies and helping with our next fundraising event.
Congratulations!
Congratulations to Harry (3EH) for his winning entry to rename our houses. His idea - to name the houses after local history - won the public vote which was held on our Facebook and Twitter pages. The new names are:
- St. Leger (after the local family whose land was used to build the school)
- Edmund (after King Edmund who granted land for a local noble)
- Linford - (after the historical village named in the Doomsday Book and home to the ancient Linford Woodland)

This system aims to encourage a real sense of pride and achievement for the children. It fosters community spirit and gives the children an opportunity to contribute to something bigger, which involves children from all year groups. The older children are positive role models and take on a pastoral role for the younger children.
