Year 2 had a brilliant afternoon on the last day of half term because they got the opportunity to learn all about fencing and archery. The children were even lucky enough to be able to experience it for themselves! After lunch, they were split into two groups and either went to the field or the round room with their specialist instructors who had come from the Caldecotte Xperience. During their archery lesson, the children learnt about how to correctly position themselves safely and make sure that they were aiming in the correct place. When they did fencing, they had to understand the safety rules and were fully kitted up with the clothes to keep them safe. A brilliant end of half term for Year 2!
