We are loving our new topic of Dinosaurs. Hopefully the children are coming home and telling you lots of new facts.
We have been lucky enough to have Andy the potter join us and make clay dinosaurs with us on a Monday afternoon. Larch class have painted theirs this week and Beech class will get the opportunity next week. Once these have been painted, glazed and fired in the kiln these wonderful art pieces will be brought home.
Our writing this week has been looking at learning to write an information text about dinosaurs, including subordination in our sentences.
Maths is continuing with the challenge of multiplication! We have now moved on to converting an array (a repeated addition) into a multiplication.
Next week we move onto our 'roots' fortnight where we will concentrate on the values of our school. We will be basing our learning on the book Mama Panya's Pancakes
Thank you for all of the children that have brought in home learning so far, we look forward to seeing more before the deadline of Monday 5th February
