On Wednesday we went on our exciting trip to Woburn Safari Park. We all went on the same coach and sat with our groups and adult for the day. When we arrived at Woburn a tour guide joined us, Naomi.
The coach then drove around the animals and Naomi told us their names and lots of interesting facts. Did you know that a Lion sleeps 23 hours a day! The highlight of the driving tour was when 4 monkeys decided to join us and were chasing each other up and down the coach roof.
Once the coach had finished the driving tour, we then started our animal adventure on food. We went to see the kangaroos and onto the sea lion and penguins, which surprised the children by smelling of fish!
After a quick handwash break we finally got to eat lunch! Which was of course very exciting as by 11.30 we were all starving!
Following lunch we had a classroom talk, where we got to stroke real animal furs and a live snake! We then visited the bird house, where we got to feed them if we wanted to. In the reptile house we got to meet a bearded dragon.
Our final stop was to see the Elephants before we headed back on the coach. Where some of us had a well deserved sleep!
