Year 5 have been getting stuck in with our space topic! We had a fantastic time in our science lesson last week using a range of fruits to learn about the relative size of each planet. We then took them onto the playground and measured out the relative distances too! We were amazed at the size of Jupiter, and the distance of Neptune from the sun.
Yesterday afternoon we were fortunate enough to take a Virtual Reality trip to space! We explored the solar system, milky way and even black holes with the help of some VR Headsets!
