Year 2 have been investigating 3D shapes to find out how many vertices they have. The children then created their own Top Trumps card game. They wrote down the number of faces, edges and vertices for different 3D shapes and had to describe them to their partners without saying the name of the shape. The children then played to gain the most cards in the Top Trumps 3D shape game. This was great fun for the children and enabled them to learn lots about 3D shapes.
