Year 3 have been taking part in their Stone Age ignite day! The children had the opportunity to come in dressed up as cave men and women. Then we took part in some fantastic activities! Firstly, we went on a scavenger hunt around the school to gather information cards about what cavemen used to eat. We found out lots about how they collected and foraged for berries and plants. Then we created our own origami mammoths and cavemen which was a real challenge that we overcame! We also had the opportunity to complete some cave art! We had the opportunity to create some clay houses and clay caves that the people would have lived in. What an exciting start to the project it has been!
