As part of the Young Coders competition some of year four and five were involved in this year, they were given the opportunity to spend a morning at Bletchley Park (The National Museum of Computing). Amongst other activities, we had a tour of the museum and used BBC microcomputers to program a rocket trajectory game. We also saw the world's oldest working computer and each got a turn to operate it. We finished the morning playing on a range of computer games from different decades. Mrs Lovegood was horrified to learn the children thought a game she played during her childhood was " positively ancient". A great morning had by all!
