On Friday, Year 6 had the fantastic opportunity to visit RAF Duxford. The museum was approximately and hour away by coach so the children were very excited by the time we arrived. During our time at the museum, we visited six different hankers and saw over 100 different types of aircraft. For the first part of the day, the children completed a self-guided tour of the WW1 aircraft space and then we got to walk over to the American Experience part of the museum. Overall, we had a fantastic time and the children will be using their experience to write recount this week during project lessons.
