Inspired by research that shows the benefits of learning between older people and Foundation children, we now run our own intergenerational project with two of our nearby sheltered housing complexes. Last year, some of the Foundation children visited the residents each week to build relationships and learn from each other. They read stories together, completed jigsaw puzzles, played board games and they even taught the residents how to floss! We will be starting to visit the residents of Pritchard Court every week after Christmas to start to develop new friendships and links within the Great Linford community.
