Looked After Children who attend Great Linford Primary School
We have several looked after children who attend Great Linford Primary School. Prior to the starting with us, we meet with the children and their carers to discussed the child's needs and discuss the best way we can support them when they start school. Our Learning Mentors keep in regular contact with the Carers, via the playground or by telephone, to ensure information is kept up-to-date and the child's needs continue to be addressed. All our CLA children choose a Keyworker who will check in with them and support them when needed.
PEP (Personal Educational Plan) meetings are set by each child's social worker 3 times a year and attended by all parties involved with the child including the child so his/her own experiences in school are shared.
