Music at Great Linford Primary School.
At our school we believe that it is important to foster creativity and imagination in all children. This is done through a variety of ways; singing, musical composition, playing instruments, and listening to a wide variety of music and understanding how music has developed through time. We also encourage the learning of an instrument to help our musical experiences and creativity. We have a choir for children to continue to develop their singing. We offer a varied musical experience to allow children to experience and make their own music through improvisation and composition. We use the KAPOW Primary! Music Scheme of work which enable our children to have a wide variety of musical experiences and encourages further musical opportunities. Please use the button below to see the long term documents for progression of knowledge and skills document.
