Targeting mental health - HeadsUpHeadsUp is a new initiative launched in Milton Keynes to help support mental health and wellbeing among men
Men tend to ‘suffer in silence’ with mental health concerns and are less likely than women to seek help. HeadsUp aims to raise awareness and help men to take action when they are suffering with wellbeing and mental health issues.
The HeadsUp website offers online ‘check ups’, a toolkit of resources, stories from local men and celebrities, and links to local and national support and information groups. There is also a section that encourages partners and friends to look out for the wellbeing of men they know which includes hints and tips on ‘How to Keep Happy’ and stay well.
Visit the HeadsUp website to find out more. It may help you or someone you know get access to the advice or help they need.
