Restorative Leaders

What are Restorative Leaders?

At Great Linford Primary School, Restorative Leaders are a group of children from across the school who help to keep our school a safe and happy place. The work with children across the school to encourage good behaviour and help resolve any issues that happen throughout the school day.

What do we do?

Using the principles of the Restorative Foundation, the children use restorative practice to create an open dialogue where problems can be solved in a fair way. The Restorative Leaders use circles to help us maintain a happy and healthy school.

Our Aims:

  • Build connection and participation
  • Promote dialogue.
  • Create a friendly and happy place for all children.
  • Maintain the culture of our school community.

Future Projects:

We have half-termly restorative leader meetings to discuss our next steps as Restorative Leaders.
