What are Sats?Each year the government set a test for all 11 year olds to take at the end of the studies at KS2 - these are commonly known as 'sats tests'. Your class teacher will prepare your child fully for the tests in May.

How can I help my child?At GLPS, we ensure that our children receive a balanced yet rigorous curriculum. This enables the children to confidently tackle their tests whilst also having fun and forming positive relationships with other learners.

Google Classroom Resources
Make sure you have joined the Year 6 Google Classroom for 2021-22. The code needed will have been sent to you via ParentMail but if you are unsure, please contact the school office or speak to your class teacher. Resources will be uploaded regularly on Google Classroom to support the learning which is being done in school. If your child has found something difficult in class, these resources can be used to practise and further build confidence at home.
