 Project - Vikings 

This half term we will be learning to:
  • ​· Understand the Viking and Anglo-Saxon struggle for the Kingdom of England to the time of Edward the Confessor.
  • Use knowledge to compare Vikings with other historical invaders.

  • Explain what samba music is and that it is mainly percussion instruments used in celebrations such as Carnival in Brazil.
  • Name some percussion instruments used in Samba.
  • Clap on the off beat (the and of each beat) and be able to play a syncopated rhythm.
  • Play  rhythms in time within a group 
  • Play a musical break in time with a group and play in the correct place in the piece.
